Everything you need to understand EyeQuant.

An idea can have one of four statuses:

New idea: EyeQuant AI generated a new signal marking the start of an uptrend today.

Trending: an uptrend signal previously generated by EyeQuant AI is still active.

Ended today: EyeQuant AI generated an ending signal today for an idea that was trending.

Inactive: EyeQuant AI currently has no active uptrend signal for that asset.

Inactive does not necessarily mean that the asset has no trend according to other models, methods, or analysis criteria. It only means that EyeQuant AI does not currently have an active uptrend signal for that asset.

Instead of reviewing dozens of ideas available in EyeQuant, you can first choose assets based on your interests, your knowledge of specific assets, or any other criteria you consider relevant.

Your Watchlist gives you a personalized focus: you can concentrate on the assets that interest you and quickly see which are New ideas, Trending, Ended today, or Inactive according to EyeQuant AI.

A model is built and tuned using a training period. It is then tested on different periods whose data were not used to tune its parameters. These are called out-of-sample periods.

This method aims to provide a more demanding historical evaluation and reduce the risk that a model appears to perform well simply because it was tuned on the same data used to evaluate it.

For example, a 60% Win Rate means that 6 out of every 10 ideas in the selected set ended with a positive price change.

It is a historical metric that helps describe the model's past behavior. It is not the probability that an idea currently Trending will end with a positive price change.

It helps you move quickly from a broad market overview to identifying where relevant trends are appearing according to EyeQuant models.

Instead of reviewing many markets and assets individually, Macro Radar works like a trend map that highlights areas worth closer attention.

It lets you discover ideas beyond the assets already in your Watchlist. From there, you can review available ideas, check their status, and use filters to focus on what matters to you.

In short, Ideas is for exploring; the Watchlist is for focusing on the assets you chose to follow.

Plans tailor the experience to each user's level of use and desired depth of information. Depending on the plan, access to platform features, tools, and available information changes.

The core approach is the same: EyeQuant uses quantitative models to generate and monitor market ideas. Plans determine access to the platform and its tools; they do not turn ideas into investment recommendations or financial advice.

This does not mean the price must rise every day. Prices can move in both directions during a trend. EyeQuant looks for price behavior that meets the conditions its models use to identify an uptrend.

When those conditions appear, EyeQuant generates a New idea. While they remain in place, the idea is marked Trending. When they no longer apply, EyeQuant generates an ending signal and the idea is marked Ended today before later becoming Inactive.

This evaluation helps show how a model would have performed against information it had not previously used during development.

In EyeQuant, ideas used to evaluate models out of sample therefore come from periods different from the training period.

Once a model has been defined using that period, EyeQuant can evaluate it on later or different data that were not used for training. Those data make up the out-of-sample period.

Keeping the periods separate supports a more demanding evaluation and helps reduce the risk of overfitting.
